Sunlight flittered through the curtains onto your sleeping form, making you (h/c) hair shine like silk. A certain German was watching you as you slept, occasionally reaching over to brush a strand of hair from your slightly round face. Today was your birthday and he was skipping training today to spend it with you.
Ludwig looked over at the clock and saw that it was 8:00 AM. He had been up earlier and already made you a cake. He knew you would have told him not to make one if he waited until you were awake. You had issues with the fact that you were on the bigger side. He didn’t mind at all, for him it simply meant he didn’t have to worry about breaking you because you were some fragile twig. Not there was anything wrong with women like that, he just wouldn’t want one for his lover.
Pushing those thoughts aside for now, he decided to give you a little wake up call. Leaning over you he pressed his lips to yours as his hands found their way to your bottom and gave it a light squeeze. He smirked when you gasped, his tongue finding entrance to the warm cavern of your mouth. “Guten morgen meine Liebe.1” His words sent shivers through you as they were murmured into your mouth before he pulled away, moving just enough to look into your eyes.
You smiled up at him, your (e/c) orbs locked onto his blue ones. “Buon giorno mi orso.2” One of your hands found its way to his hair to tangle in the slicked back tresses to ruffle it and send it askew across his forehead. You always liked when he left his hair down, it made him look sexier than he already did just by being him.
The funny thing was, neither of you had fallen for each other by looks. You had met online by accident once. You had been convinced by a friend to try this silly dating site, while he had been convinced by his brother to do the same. Fate seemed to be a funny thing. You were matched up not long after joining. You spent months just chatting and getting to know each other before so much as pictures were shared. Shortly after you two finally met in person and it was love at first sight. It helped that you had already been in love before, but somehow meeting sealed the deal.
That had been over two years ago.
Your relationship had been long distance for awhile until fate once again seemed to step in. You were offered a promotion at work. The only catch was you would have to transfer to an office in Germany. You took the offer without hesitation. Ludwig lived in Berlin, the same city the office you were transferring to was. You stayed in an apartment for the first few months before moving in with him and his older brother Gilbert.
Or as you had found out later, Germany and Prussia. It had been a bit of a shock to you to find that out. Not so much because you didn’t know countries had personifications, but because you didn’t know they personally were part of it. You were a new micronation known as Filettino. You hadn’t bothered to go to a meeting because well, you had nothing to talk about and you would have to take time off from work to attend most of them anyway.
Ludwig chuckled at your sweet thoughtful expression, he had learned already that sometimes you would drift off into a world all your own, especially when you were really happy about something. He wasn’t going to interrupt your happy thoughts right now.
You snapped out of them on your own as you blinked up at him, pulling him down into another kiss. “Mm, sorry for drifting off on you like that.” Ludwig gladly returned the kiss before kissing across your jaw to your ear then down your neck, murmuring against your skin. “I didn’t mind, I got to stare at your beauty longer that way.”
You rolled your eyes at his comment but didn’t protest it for the time being. You were too focused on tipping your head back and letting out satisfied purrs as his lips, teeth, and tongue molested your neck. He found an older mark that he took a liking to, teeth abusing the spot until you squirmed under him, hands fisted in his blue tee. “I think that is enough for now.”
He chuckled once more and kissed you chastely before standing up from the bed and offering you his hand. “I have a surprise for you.” You accepted his strong hand with your smaller softer one and stood, stretching a little once you were on your feet. You frowned when you looked down at yourself. You were only wearing one of his tee shirts and a pair of (f/c) panties. The shirt fit you snuggly and stretched in a few places, reminding you how fat and ugly you were. Or at least how fat and ugly you thought you were.
Noticing your gaze had fallen to your own body and you were frowning Ludwig placed his index finger under your chin and gently lifted your face up to meet his gaze. “I know what you are thinking (Name). It isn’t true. You are meine schone Schatz und Ich liebe dich3. You are perfect the way you are. Now come on before meine bruder finds your surprise.”
A smile found its way onto your face as you looked at the honesty and love in your German lovers eyes. He always knew just the right thing to say to you to make you smile. One of many reasons why you loved him. “Grazie Luddy, you are too good to me sometimes.”
“Nein, you deserve that and much more.” Ludwig gave you a final peck on your soft plump lips before he led you from the bedroom. Just before you reached the kitchen he covered your eyes with his hand to which you giggled and tried to peek. “Come on Luddy I want to see!” He simply shook his head with a smile on his face. “Nein not yet. You are as bad as Feliciano sometimes.”
You pretended to pout until you were finally in the kitchen and Ludwig uncovered your eyes. What met your sight brought a shocked gasp from you. On the table was a simple white cake with (f/f) frosting, but that wasn’t what made you gasp. It was what it said. On top of the cake were the words. “Will you marry me?” and an open velvet box with a ring inside of it.
Ludwig couldn’t help but smile at your reaction, walking to stand beside the table and drop to one knee, looking up at you with those blue eyes you could never say no to. “So vill you marry me (Full name)?”
You just stared from him to the ring and back again, eyes quickly filling with tears before you tried to choke back a sob. Ludwig was quick to act as he stood and wrapped his arms tightly around your slightly chubby form, smoothing his hand over your hair. “Shh… Bitte, don’t cry… I should have waited to ask.”
After a few more moments of choked sobbing and tears you managed to shake your head, looking up at Ludwig through wide eyes. “I-it isn’t that… I-I just… I don’t think I’m good enough, or pretty enough. I would ruin yo-” You were cut off in the middle of putting yourself down by having a forkful of cake shoved into your mouth. It was delicious, just as anything else the German made was.
“Don’t say things like that! You are perfect! I love the softness you have, you are so beautiful without even trying! Your eyes, hair, curves, your lips, I love all of it (Name) Ich liebe dich meine schone Prinzessin…4” To prove his point he rested his hand on your round hips and pulled you closer, finally pressing his lips to yours. He slipped his tongue between your lips to taste your mouth and the cake that lingered.
You soon found yourself responding when he began to stroke your tongue with his, you allowed your body to press against his, your plush curves fitting perfectly against the hard lines of your lover. Too soon the kiss ended and Ludwig leaned down to rest his forehead against yours. “Anch'io ti amo mi orso5.... Grazie… I… I would love to marry you Ludwig.” You smiled a small smile up at him, reaching out to cup his cheek in your hand.
Ludwig placed his hand over yours, returning your smile tenfold before he picked you up off the floor in a hug and buried his face in the crook of your neck. “Danke Liebling. You have no idea how happy you have made me.” You smiled against his shoulder, happy tears misting in your eyes as you snuggled against him. “You are the one making me happy. I’m so glad you love me Luddy… And as much as I hate to admit it, I’m glad I let myself be talked into joining that dating site.”
He smiled and chuckled, nodding against your neck. “Ja. I’m glad you did too, I’m glad Gilbert talked me into it too.” You looked over at him and smiled, placing a gentle kiss on his lips that was returned without hesitation, your love being sealed with one of many kisses to come.
And so the ties of fate were forever entwined…
